The brief

Turn followers into website visitors

The website had grown fast: a library of books, 21 doctoral guides, an author resource shop, and a full services menu. The goal was a content plan that showed all of it off, sent people to the right page every time, and gave each of three audiences a reason to come back.

  • Three audiences: indie authors, doctoral students, and readers
  • Every graphic shows the website, and every caption names the exact page
  • Built only from the client’s real covers, products, reviews, and site screenshots
  • A seasonal calendar: writing month, holidays, querying season, and defense season
  • A launch campaign for a February 14 book release
  • Clean image files with no camera, software, or AI tags

05

The process

From website to scheduled feed

i.

Audit

Review the website, products, services, and audiences to decide what each post should sell.

ii.

Calendar

Map four months to seasons, launches, and holidays, with a set job for each day of the week.

iii.

Captions

Write every caption with a hook, real value, the exact page link, and a question to start comments.

iv.

Design

Design every graphic on-brand from real covers and screenshots, with the website on every slide.

v.

Clean files

Strip hidden file data so images post as plain photos, then check every one.

vi.

Schedule

Load each post into Buffer with its images, caption, hashtags, and posting time.
